Pool Cove, Happy Bottom, Perfect Bottom & Wall Foam
All pools need to have a cove that protects the liner from the pool wall. Coves can be made from dirt & sand which can wash away causing strain on the liner. When you use the foam Pool Cove from Gladon you are ensuring a cove that will not wash away and also provide a firm edge eliminating divots where dirt can hide.
Happy Bottom is a foam layer that goes underneath your liner for protection from small rocks, roots, and other objects that can potentially break through your liner. Not only does the Happy Bottom protect your liner, it acts as an insulator for your pool.
Another way to protect your liner is Perfect Pool Bottom. This is a thick plastic that is added under your liner before installation. It is recommended if you have a particularly rocky area where your pool will be installed or larger roots. It also is packaged with Pool Cove for the complete package.
Wall Foam is an insulator that is added before the liner is installed. This adheres to the wall and helps stop heat loss in the water. This is especially recommended for pools with solar or gas heaters to help keep the heat in.
